Sherrie + Darwin

Sherrie Yu and Darwin Roman wanted their wedding to feel romantic and elegant with touches of whimsy. The bride was drawn to a natural aesthetic with lots of greens, wildflower hues, and floral designs that incorporated sculptural shapes, movement, and produce. Their ceremony was surrounded by a sprawling canopy of trees and waterfalls. It featured a lush 10 ft. greenery arch with pops of blush and soft lilac blooms. After a garden cocktail hour, guests moved indoors for the reception. Tablescapes were artfully minimalist, and designed with scalloped plates, floral and fruit centerpieces and merlot and olive accents. Other highlights included a long wedding cake and the band accompanying the Groom for a rap performance.
